Lasering special projects and jobs sometimes requires the removal of the acrylic shield. If you're like most of us you just removed it all together because it just get in the way, sometimes causing to scrap a project. This flexible shield follow the down air flow design of the stock shield but is shorter and flexes if your laser head hits a hold down pin or magnet, not causing damage to your machine. It flexes and keeps on moving. uses the stock screws.
The Shark Fin still allows access to your set screw on the nozzle for models that are equipped. Works with air assist.
The Shark Fin has been testing with Flame detect on LOW and HIGH settings, we have seen no change in function with this guard. Most of our in house lasers run the flame detect function on LOW or OFF, as false alarms are to common. Please use this at your own risk, a laser should never be unattended and we assume no responsibility of damages and cost.
