- Short Story, Seen my buddy get rear ended with his Tri bike and wife's E-bike on the back. Lost both bikes, damage to car and had to fight the rear ender in court that he could see his brake lights through his bike. My buddy requested I make him brake lights for his rack.
GET THIS KIT! Light kit functions are brake lights, turn signals and tail lights. The turn signals/flashers are sequential! Brake lights flash/pulsate to catch the attention of those behind. Regular 4 pin plug trailer plug.
Light width is 5" and installs in T slots on your Kuat rack, NO DRILLING into your expensive bike rack and putting structural integrity into question. The wire harness length works with single bike racks all the way to 4 carrier bike racks. Help protect your road, triathlon, E-bike, carbon or mountain bike from damage. More light to help protect your investment or prized bike. Your bike rack sticks off the back of your car with some distance. This light kit will help put direct eye contact to lights on the rear most part of your rack.
You will need a T40 Security bit to install this kit, available for purchase here.
